Big Joe Overcomes Fever, High Crowd Expectations to Win at Tritone
Big Joe TD (full name not family friendly-check the standings page for that) won the first ever PBRPRPSCLCS title at Tritone on Wednesday, despite being too sick to compete the previous day at Finn McCool’s. The crowd was fully behind him as he faced his friend and training partner I Want The Gold in the finals.
In his post-championship press conference, Big Joe claimed that he didn’t need any stinking doctors to get over his sickness. All he needed was “the self-medication of high-level RPS play and some nice cold Pabst Blue Ribbon“. As of this writing, Big Joe’s sickness has completely disappeared, despite his doctor’s prediction that it would take 2-3 weeks. The lesson here: don’t underestimate the power of RPS.
