Doyle Double Dips in Dandy Debut at the Dive

The competitors faced a long rain delay last night, but that didn’t dampen their spirits.  A little rain isn’t about to stop Philadelphia from coming out to play their sport of choice-RPS.

And you caught me.  It wasn’t really Doyle’s debut at the Dive.

It was, however, his debut holding the Championship belt (which is actually a PBR) after defeating The Rock Doctor in the finals.  Doyle, never one to follow doctor’s orders, paid little attention when Rock Doctor wrote him a prescription for “losing” at the beginning of the final match.  It was a well-played final match (especially considering the sloppy scissors that had been thrown all night), but Doyle came out on top.

Perhaps that’s because he was part of Troyle, which dominated the Street RPS tournament on the night as well.  This was actually the first street event of the year, but there are plenty more to come.  They teamed up to collect $30 in street money which narrowly defeated Audrey Stoltz by only $1.  After a second count of the money, Traci technically got the title of Street RPS champ on the night, which means she collected an extra 2 points and a gift certificate to the Dive.
