PBRPRPSCLCS Starts Tonight!
Much like all of you, I am filled with sheer excitement as tonight begins the journey towards the crowning of the best Rock Paper Scissors player in Philadelphia (one that isn’t named Urbanus, anyway).
Once we conclude the 2006 PBRPRPSCLCS, I have no doubt that Philadelphia will overtake Washington DC as the RPS city in the US.
A few quick reminders:
-Check the rule page for complete gameplay guidelines. There will be an announcement at the beginning of each event, but it’s best to know what you’re doing beforehand (i.e. we use a three-prime shoot).
-Registration will begin 1/2 hour before competition. You may want to get there a little earlier than that to size up your fellow competitors and enjoy a Pabst Blue Ribbon.
-If you don’t already own a copy, you may want to read The Official RPS Strategy Guide. The wisdom inside is useful for any level of player from beginner to Master. If you have already read it, you may want to re-read it.
I look forward to meeting all the best RPS players from the best city in the world (and surrounding areas). I wish you all strong throws and good strategy.
