Pesky Hits Town, Claims Khyber Championship, Loses to Urbanus, Quickly Retreats Back to LA
The best way to talk about this week’s champ at the Khyber is to draw your attention to the comments left in the “local legends” comments section:
While little is known about April 24th’s PBRPRPSCLCS champion at the Khyber, chances are it will be his only appearance of the 2006 Summer Season. Pesky, a travelling rocker who was in town on “business” took all entrants by surprise with his barrage of rocks, followed by the deathly scissor-paper one-two punch to take the Championship. In a heated post-championship battle, Pesky lost an unforgettable battle to C. Urbanus in a 5th round sudden-death scissor cuts paper battle. While Pesky may not be at any other challenges this season, he will be remembered as the one-hit wonder who took the Philly-RPS scene by storm.
Next week will be a big week at the Khyber, as next Monday is somebody’s big 30th birthday (I’m not going to tell you who yet…the official announcement will be made later in the week).
