A Little Information on 2007
Here’s some tentative (I stress tentative) info on how the 2007 season is shaping up:
-Pabst Blue Ribbon returns as Title Sponsor. The PBRPRPSCLCS would like to thank them for their continued support.
-The PBRPRPSCLCS season will be only 6 weeks long this year as opposed to 10 weeks in 2006. This means that every event counts that much more as there will be about 13 less events.
-The week will probably run Sun-Mon-Weds-Thurs. It’s possible that a few extra Tuesday events will be added periodically throughout the season. The Sunday event will be early-ish for those who complain about how late the other events have run in the past.
-The Thursday venue will continue to be the Dive.
-The PBRPRPSCLCS Champion will once again be awarded $1000. The Championship will almost certainly be June 9th (this avoids the Fathers day weekend problems of 2006).
-2006 PBRPRPSCLCS Champion Johnny Goodtimes is automatically invited to compete at the Championship in 2007.
-The season will most likely start on April 15th, with an early event at the new Sunday venue. The rest of the venues will begin competition the week of April 22nd.
