Last Week of 2008 Season Will Be Double Points Week!
The long-rumored Double Points Week has been confirmed by Pabst Blue Ribbon Philadelphia Rock Paper Scissors City League Officials for the last week of the 2008 season beginning this coming Monday, June 2nd at the Khyber.
All points awarded will be doubled including any Street RPS victories (which will now be worth 4 points). So the winner of the 4 tournaments next week (don’t forget Skinners again on Wednesday this week) will earn 16 points toward their season totals and all competitors will receive a minimum of 2 points for competing. There is a price to be paid for double points, though. And that price is double the usual entry fee of $1.
PLEASE NOTE: You must have attended a minimum of 3 events throughout the season to qualify for the City League Championship. If you need more points and/or have not reached the minimum event requirement get out and play next week. You have 4 more chances.
