Biggs Darklighter Survives Rare Play-in Round, Defeats Legg E. Blonde at Raven Lounge!

Biggs Darklighter (above, recalling his victory with fondness only minutes after victory) defeated Baconshark in the first recorded play-in round in Pabst Blue Ribbon Philadelphia Rock Paper Scissors City League history (but probably not the last – that really helped with the bye situation)  after round one. He then expertly piloted his way through the field of competition to the finals, where he faced the fast-priming styles of Legg E. Blonde of Team David Bowie’s Package.  It was a back and forth affair in the finals, but Biggs Darklighter survived this battle (well, so did Legg E. Blonde) with a victory in the 5th set with it all tied up.  It’s like he told his old friend Luke before the tournament, “it’ll be like old times, they’ll never stop us”.  Also, please note that the red eye fix makes Biggs Darklighter’s eye look funny.

The Fighting Mongooses (above, distracted for some reason looking Majestic) of the Majestic 12 won the street RPS tournament on the night, which helped soothe the fact that he has yet to win a match this season in sanctioned non-street RPS play.

And Legg E. Blonde may have lost a tight match, but she still likes Pabst Blue Ribbon a bunch:
