Clarification for those that Came Over From Philadelphia Weekly
Welcome to the PBRPRPSCLCS web site! It was rather nice of our 2010 Official Sponsor Philadelphia Weekly to mention the League in their 32 things to do this summer. Unfortunately, there was a bit of a miscommunication there. The 2010 RPS season ended this past Saturday, which means there are no longer several tournaments a week. If you hit up Dirty Franks on a Tuesday looking for RPS (as Philadelphia Weekly suggests) you’ll be waiting a long time (like until next April). But RPS or no RPS, you would still have a great time at Dirty Franks. So make that happen.
The good news is that you can play Rock Paper Scissors this summer in Philadelphia. The Pabst Blue Ribbon Philadelphia Rock Paper Scissors City League holds tournaments once a month during the off-season to keep some players in shape for the next season, and to help certain players get ready for the Yahoo! Rock Paper Scissors World Championship in Toronto in the fall.
So check this site periodically for the when and the where of the off-season tournaments, as well as all of the other Philly RPS news and notes that’s fit to print.

Tournaments once a month you say? I’m intrigued by this concept. Please, tell me more.
