El Toro Papaya Comes From Behind to Defeat Sir Faust’s Face at Dirty Franks!
Old timer El Toro Papaya of team Feed the Pony made it to the finals for the first time this season and met up with Sir Faust’s Face (or as the crowd preferred, Mouseface). It wasn’t going very well early on in the Championship match for El Toro Papaya as Mouseface won the first two sets with ease and he and his face appeared destined for victory. But El Toro Papaya came back and tied it up at two matches each. Then he took the lead in match five. Then Sir Faust’s Face tied up the fifth set. Then there was a bunch of ties. And then El Toro Papaya won his first championship in 2010 in what was perhaps the most exciting match of the season so far. He then posed with his teammates, an injured Slymenstra Hymen and the newly-joined Ms. Strawberry (That’s Ms. Strawberry – not Mrs. Strawberry).
Speaking of old-timers, The Majestic 12 returned to active duty last night and the Scissors Blizzard won the Street Rock Paper Scissors tournament over Dick Nasty by a score of 98-79. Word on the street is that there’s a good chance that we’ll see the MJ-12 (and perhaps even Turbo) at the 2010 City League Championships now that they have come off the “indefinite hiatus” list.

I hope to god they play “Freebird” again this year. That’s their best song.
