"free transport and accommodation"......

Music to my ears. I'm getting interested.

Though last time i travelled from Australia to Philly I wasn't even allowed to throw down.

( Interestingly, I invited New Zealander martinburley to the Australian Championships last week. He attended and was banned from competing along similar lines, (well, not similar, he would never have won it. We just wanted to stick it to him. ) ).

If this alleged tournament was to proceed, would it be an open format, a "truly" open format?

That is, if the rumors are true....

I will add that the winner of a World RPS Society sanctioned event also receives free "transportation and accommodation" to the Yahoo! World RPS Championship in Toronto. So, win the tourney and not only will you place in the top 64, you'll also receive a free round trip ticket to Toronto and a hotel room for your stay. For more information, see "Sanctioning Guidelines" at:

This is simply too good a deal to pass up. All East Coast players encouraged to attend? That is, if the rumors are true...
