Blackout Motherf*ckers and Panty Bandit Make Good on Their Promises at Teri’s!
The Blackout Motherf*ckers showed up in the first team-based t-shirts (team photo above) of the season (finally) at Teri’s and Panty Bandit offered a bold prediction that she wouldn’t back down from all night – she was going to win and Jayne Doe was going to win Street.
And then Panty Bandit made it to the finals like she said she would (she beat her teammate Dome-inator in the final four) against 2007 and 2010 Champion Baconshark. It was not looking good at all for this prediction at the beginning as Panty Bandit found herself almost immediately on the wrong side of a two match deficit. But after she pulled out a squeeker in match three she authored one of the most impressive flip-the-script on them victories so far this season, defeating the Champ 3 matches to 2 on the last throw. Panty Bandit totally called that she would win and claims to be feeding off the late season excitement that’s energizing the crowd lately.
Jayne Doe almost made it to the Finals against Panty Bandit, but lost to Baconshark in the final four (3 out of 4 were Blackout Motherf*ckers). But then the other thing Panty Bandit said totally came true too! Jayne Doe won the Street RPS tourney where there was a lot of money to count as even the bar ran out of Street money by the end of the night. She turned in 207 and PJ Rhymeswithsausage turned in 168. It made the Rookie of the Year race still very close with two weeks to go. But anyway the lesson for the night was, when Panty Bandit speaks, you all better listen.
Also of note: Dick Nasty said he may be done playing Street RPS this season, as he has “nothing left to prove” having already shattered the record for Street dollars turned in for a single season.
