Silly Putty Stretches Her Season Win Total To Three With a Win at the Raven Lounge!
Silly Putty from the Good, the Bad and the Ugly took home her third tournament win so far in 2011, and if not for a few final throw losses at the beginning of the season would be threatening the tournament win record for the year (there are still two weeks left). This time her victim was Joe McB from Blacksmith’s Apron at a jam packed Raven Lounge. This was the first time Joe McB made it to the finals. It didn’t go as well for McB as he had hoped, as he lost by a 3 match to 1 count.
Despite the loss to Silly Putty there was still somne great strategy leading up to it, as Joe McB won 5 sets throwing nothing but Scissors and then switched at the perfect time when he needed to. Very impressive says the ref.
Also of note – Silly Putty moved into 2nd place on the season, which led to many growls from the Paper Tiger.
And what do you know, some guy named Dick Nasty won the street tourney by about $30 over Jayne Doe.
Then him and the Neutral Finger almost accidentally kissed fighting over the last street dollar for some reason. It was kind of cute, I guess.
Accidentally? Almost? Cute, yes.
