Sweetji Doubles Up on Victories to End Week 4 at Teri’s!

Sweetji did win the Spirit Award last season, but went 0-for a lot of tries when it came to tournament victories (note: she did win two off-season events).  2011 is shaping up much better for her in the win column, as she pulled off a feat we haven’t seen since the end of the 2007 season – victories on back-to-back nights.  Last time we saw that sort of dominance was when Baconshark won the last tournament of the season and then went on to take his first PBRPRPSCLCS title.

Sweetji didn’t have it easy, as she made it through 35 and 28 player fields without any byes on her way to the back-to-back wins.  Her last victim of the week was You’re Killing Me Smalls, who made it to the finals for the first time ever, but was pretty well dominated by Sweetji in the final match.  Can Sweetji make it a three-peat tonight?  Will she even try?  Go to the El Bar to find out!

And Dick Nasty continued to do what he’s done all season on the Street RPS side of things.  He beat out dOGulas by just a little bit on this night but still won.  It was an especially important victory for Mr. Nasty, as it put him in the lead for total points at the halfway mark of the season even though (or possibly due to) all the leading players went out 1-2-3 in the first round of the night.

Oh, I forgot to mention that someone showed someone else their ladysomething after losing to that someone and for street dollars all at the same time.  I don’t think that sort of RPS indecentness has really been chronicled before.
