Ziro and Team David Bowie’s Package Refuse to be Silenced at Teri’s!
Week 7 of the 2011 season came quietly to end at Teri’s on Thursday with a classic matchup! It’s not as good as the My Fingers Make Me Happy Vs. Crystal Ball rivalry that the legends speak of, but it’s still pretty good.
It was a pretty good night for Team David Bowie’s Package and they gave witness to another All-Package Final (there were a lot of them there but in fairness no more than the Blackout Motherf*ckers). For the 3rd time in two years the championship match featured Ziro Vs. dOGulas who were part of DBP, left and formed the Lone Wolves, and then rejoined the DBP pack again for 2011. This particular Championship matchup was split 1-1 (dOGulas last season, Ziro this season) but Ziro took the lead in the series after this one which, obviously, he won by a count of more matches to less matches.
And talk about a good end of the season for Ziro (after a well, not so great start). He also won the Street RPS tournament on the night as he finished up about $50 ahead of Jayne Doe. That gave him a clean sweep on the night and a total of 10 points. The only way it could get better was if there was some sort of way to double those points!
Honorable mention in the walking wounded category goes to Lo Diz (below with teammate Dr. Dre, uninjured) From Cock Raper Jizzers. She had surgery earlier in the day on her leg, but played through the pain to make sure she would qualify for the Championship. Way to tough it out, Lo Diz!
