Ziro Ruins Hipster Thrifter’s Birthday in All-Package Final!
It was Hipster Thrifter’s Birthday last night and she was trying to do it up right by celebrating with a RPS win. This has been tried many times before, but there has never been a successful birthday-champ-combo-person.
So there was much excitement when she made it all the way to the finals at The El Bar to face her teammate Ziro. Ever since the first year of the PBRPRPSCLCS Team David Bowie’s Package has talked about the All-Package Final, which happened at the Championship last year but never during the season. So it was kind of ironic that two players who wouldn’t have cared last year about an All-Package Finals were the ones to finally make it happen.
But anyway, Ziro won and Hipster Thrifter went on to enjoy her birthday as much as she could after that. It was the 2nd time Ziro had to play a teammate in the finals, last year he beat lost to former Lone Wolves and current co-Package member dOGulas who, though spoke to the media singing the praise of one teammate but not the other: “Where were you when history was made? Most were home, some left early, the rest were drunk.” I guess the history is the all-Package final, but no one is really sure.
Elsewhere, for the 2nd time this season there was bad Street RPS money in circulation. Now when you’re playing someone who has fake dollars that are bigger than your fake dollars don’t play for them! Despite the shady (well, shadier than usual) goings-on on the Street, Rookie of the Year candidate The One-Armed Scissor took the title for week #6 at El Bar. He beat the Paper Tiger 134-76. Note that no bogus street money was counted toward any totals.
Again, an error: When Ziro and I fought last year, I was victorious, not he. Though it did come down to the last throw of the 5th round.
I didn’t look it up. I took someone’s word for it. Noted and will be changed.
