Heart Cutters Dominate and Sweetji Wins at Connie’s Ric Rac!

Sweetji (at left) and Swede Heart just put together their new team The Heart Cutters on Tuesday at Dirty Franks, but just because it’s new doesn’t mean that they aren’t a force to be reckoned with already this season.  Swede-Heart made it to the finals on Tuesday at Dirty Franks and then the Final Four at Connie’s Ric Rac was all Heart Cutters.

Exotic Miguel and Taryn Paper lost in the semi-finals, so that left newcomer Ham & Cheese to fight it out with veteran player Sweetji for the first championship at Connie’s Ric Rac that didn’t end with a giant check getting awarded.  It was a pretty good match, but the old pro Sweetji ended up winning it at the end.  It was her first title this season, and only four nights in.

It was good to see some new players at the Ric Rac, including the mysterious team Finger Bang Five who did pretty good for their first time out. Well, except Greensgo, who just couldn’t get the hang of the Paper and Scissors horizontal/vertical rules.  This is not uncommon for a player making their first appearance (it is tense up on the stage), so don’t sweat it Greensgo.

Anyway, Since your fine Commissioner won the Street Tournament at the El Bar, Last year’s Street Champ (Dick Nasty, who is by no means surprised, left) has won the rest (but still has less total money turned in than the Commish).  There was some talk of a street boycott, but people tried that last year and didn’t stick too it too well so it’s probably just keep happening.  When asked, Mr. Nasty said he was “pretty fine with that”.
