Say Goodbye to Two Lifetime Achievement Award Winners in August!

Sad news, as two PBRPRPSCLCS Lifetime Achievement winners are on the move to less green, less fun pastures (that’s Boston for both).  Both El Toro Papaya and Le Tigre are calling it quits on the Philly circuit, but the good news is you get a chance to play them / watch them play at the August tournament going down at Dirty Franks on the 7th of August.  Signups start at 9 PM. You can ask El Toro... read more

Fare Thee Well, David Bowie’s Package!

Play Some Goodbye RPS With Swede-Heart at the Raven March 1st!

She’s moving to Sweden (surprise!). This is all happening March 1st on the 2nd floor of the Raven Lounge (1718 Sansom). Registration will start at 7 and competition... read more

Sad news – 4 year PBRPSCLCS veteran Female Ninja Whore (that’s her after winning her first tourney in 2006 remembered widely for the classic FNW – Fingers Make Me Happy match) won’t be playing around here anymore.  She’s moved off to Mexico to take part in a family business, even though her family isn’t Mexican.  But whatever, we wish her (and the business) the best... read more

Loomer Files Retirement Paperwork! Philadelphia Players Excited by the Newfound Possibility of Now Maybe Being Able to Win Tournaments in 2010!

The PBRPRPSCLCS is sad to announce that Loomer has shipped off to Japan to follow his dream of teaching Rock Paper Scissors to children there (I’m pretty sure that’s what he’s doing – the retirement paperwork isn’t all that thorough).  Thus leaves (at least for a year) one of the greatest RPS players to ever drink Pabst Blue Ribbon here in Philadelphia.  A brief overview of... read more
