Billy Shears to Loomer: “You’re not the only person on this team who can win all the time”! Leads Majestic 12 Sweep at the Raven Lounge on El Toro Papaya and Squidlings Birthday!

Billy Shears of the Majestic 12 (blue jacket above, playing stair RPS) won his 2nd tournament in a row at the Raven Lounge on Monday – he also took the title at the Dive last Thursday.  He defeated birthday boy El Toro Papaya by a score of 3 matches to 1.  All this on a night when El Toro Papaya supplied Strawberry cake (served to the losers by Mr. Strawberry!) and pizza to the sellout crowd on... read more

Mr. Strawberry Wins!!!

Mr. Strawberry, well known around Philadelphia RPS circles for consistantly placing 2nd, has been practicing all off-season down in Newark, Delaware and has already claimed a 1st place prize this summer!  He’s been playing down at his local California Tortilla and after claiming many 2nd place prizes of Chips and Salsa (above) he has taken the gold, defeating his cashier for the top prize of a... read more

Le Tigre Wins Lone Strawberry Appreciation Day of 2008 Season!

Le Tigre, team captain of the Paper Cut Posse, won his 2nd tournament of the 2008 Pabst Blue Ribbon Philadelphia Rock Paper Scissors City League season at the final 2008 event at the Khyber.  He once again defeated reigning City League Champ Baconshark in the finals but instead of winning on the last throw of the last set like last time, this one was a 3-0 match win that Le Tigre said was... read more

Bean Takes the Cake at Jager’s!
